Using an iPhone/iPad/iPod

Compatible iPhone/iPad/iPod models
This unit can be connected to and used with the following
iPhone/iPad/iPod models.
iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G
iPad (3rd generation), iPad 2, iPad
iPod touch (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation)
iPod nano (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th generation)
p You cannot transmit the iPhone/iPad/iPod video signal
through this unit.
p To connect an iPhone/iPad/iPod to this unit's USB port,
use the USB cable provided with the iPhone/iPad/iPod.
iPhone/iPad/iPod software
If the unit or remote control buttons do not work properly
with your iPhone/iPad/iPod, updating its software might
solve the problem.
Download the latest software for your iPhone/iPad/iPod
from the following Apple website.

Connecting the DAB/FM antenna

Indoor antenna
Connect the included antenna to the antenna connector
on the rear panel and extend the antenna.
Fix the antenna to a window frame, wall or other position
that improves reception the most.
p You can check the antenna adjustment or positioning
for the best reception by viewing the signal quality on
the display.
Press the INFO button repeatedly to select "Signal
strength" and change the position of the antenna (see
page 40).
