BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING

I get a message "Device was not found"
Your HEOS devices and controller device may not be on the same network. Verify that the controller device is on the same
0
network as your HEOS devices. This is usually configured under the Settings feature on your mobile device.
If you have more than one network, your mobile device may hop to a different network as you move around your home.
Make sure you don't have any other electronic devices interfering with your wireless network signals. Microwave ovens,
0
cordless phones, and some televisions can cause wireless network interference.
If your HEOS devices are located far away from your router, consider adding a Wireless Range Extender like the HEOS Extend.
0
In case your wireless router is incompatible with HEOS device, please use the optional HEOS Extend Wireless Range Extender
0
and hard-wire it to your router.
My HEOS device turns off and the Power LED flashes in red
The protection circuit has been activated due to a rise in temperature within your HEOS device. Turn the power off, wait about
0
an hour until this device cools down sufficiently, and then turn the power on again.
Check the speaker connections. The protection circuit may have been activated because speaker cable core wires came in
0
contact with each other or a core wire was disconnected from the connector and came in contact with the rear panel of this
device. After unplugging the power cord, take corrective action such as firmly re-twisting the core wire or taking care of the
connector, and then reconnect the wire.
