SNOW-CLEARING TIPS

For best efficiency, clear snow before it melts, refreezes and hardens.
Do not reduce engine speed while clearing snow.
Operating tips for clearing hard or deep snow:
• Reduce forward speed. If that is not sufficient, use the shift lever to
clear snow with a back and forth motion.
• Clear a narrower swath. Make several passes with the auger
overlapping the cleared areas.
• If the snow is deeper than the height of the auger, remove it in
several steps, as shown below, or install the drift-breaker kit
(optional part) that is available from authorized Honda snow blower
dealers.
