Symptom
Indications of poor fuel quality are pilot not staying lit, burners producing abnormal flames and/or soot; unit back-firing when lit.

Troubleshooting

Possible Cause
a) Air in the line
b) Low gas pressure
c) Wrong gas type
a) Pilot orifice is dirty
b) Drafty around the unit
a) Loose or dirty electrical connections
b) Insufficient generator voltage
a) No batteries in the remote or receiver
b) Dead batteries in remote or receiver
c) Receiver switch in incorrect position
d) Remote out of range for receiver

Bleed the line of air.
