Problem
When the USB cable is
disconnected, an error
message will appear on
the computer.
The DVD COPY function
will not start even when I
press the DVD COPY
button.
I cannot copy motion
pictures using the
DVD COPY function.
It takes a long time to
create a DVD.
The amount of free space
on the HDD or SD card
does not increase even
when the images are
backed up on the
computer or DVD discs.
The DVD player cannot
play back the discs I have
created using VideoCam
Suite.

≥ To disconnect the USB cable safely, double-click the
icon in the task tray and follow the instructions on the screen.
≥ To create DVD-Video discs using the DVD COPY function, you
need to install VideoCam Suite from the supplied CD-ROM to
your computer. (l 77)
≥ Have you already copied those images using the DVD COPY
function?
# Once motion pictures have been copied using the DVD COPY
function, they cannot be copied a second or subsequent time.
Import the motion pictures onto the PC, and then write them on
the DVD disc.
≥ Creating a DVD may take some time even if the size of the
motion picture files are small.
≥ The unit's image data is not automatically deleted even when
you have imported images to your computer or onto DVD
discs using VideoCam Suite.
# To increase the amount of free space on the HDD or SD card,
delete unnecessary images recorded on this unit. (l 57, 62)
≥ To playback a DVD disc created using VideoCam Suite, the
player must support playback of that DVD disc. (Refer to the
operating instructions of the player.)
