Model: DVP-C650D, DVP-CX850D, DVP-S330, DVP-S530D, DVP-S5
Symptom: Unit intermittently powers off two seconds after powering ON.
In this bulletin you will Resolder IC206 and change parts on the MB and front panel Fl boards depending upon the
serial number of the unit to insure a reliable power ON reset of key ICs. If your model falls outside of the serial
numbers listed below or if the problem persists after the changes, perform the countermeasure in step 3. You must
perform all the parts of the step.

Step 1
•
On the MB board, locate Flash ROM IC206.
•
Resolder the row of pins 23-44 at the bottom of the board.
•
Inspect for bridges before powering the unit.
