Tominimize thepossibihty of burns,

containershouldbe turned toward the center of the
range withoutextendingover nearby surface units.
Alwaysturnthesurfaceunitsoffbefore
removing cookware.
Toavoidthepossibility of a burnor electric
shock,
alwaysbe certain that the controls for all
surface units are at the off position and all coils
are cool before attemptingto lift or remove a unit.
Donotimmerse or soaktheremovable surface
units.Do notputthemin a dishwasher. Do not
seE-clean thesurfaceunitsin theoven.
Cleanthecooktopwithcaution.
I f a wet sponge
is used to wipe spills on a hot cooktop,be careful
to avoid steam burns.
Whenflamingfoodsareunderthehood,
turn the fan off. The fan, if operating, may spread
the flame.
