1. Flue Damper

The flue damper must be in the fully opened position
(handle all the way to the right) during operation of the
fireplace.
Before lighting the fireplace, verify fully open position
by looking up from the inside of the fireplace.

2. Outside Air

NOTICE: Use of outside air is optional.
If outside air is installed, slide the handle to the left to
open, slide to the right to close. This may be closed
only when the fireplace is not in use to prevent cold air
infiltration.
CAUTION! Outside air control handle may be warm.
Adjust before lighting fire.

3. Glass Doors

• Glass doors are optional.
• Refer to Figure 3.3 for how to properly use them.
