INSTALLING ELECTRODE
CONDUIT KITS
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill.
• Turn the input power OFF at the dis-
connect switch before working on
this equipment.
• Do not touch electrically hot parts.

Electrode conduit is used when feeding wire drums,
from boxes or large reels. For best feeding results, use
the shortest conduit length possible and avoid sharp
bends.
(For Codes 11075, 11076, 11077)
Tools required: (See Figure A.10a)
• Snap Ring Pliers
To install Lincoln conduit:
1. Turn off power at the welding power source.
2. Remove the snap ring holding the ball bushing
assembly to the back of the wire feeder. Remove
the ball bushing assembly.

(For Codes 11209, 11210, 11211 and above)
To install Lincoln conduit: (See Figure A.10b)
1. Turn off power at the welding power source.
2. Remove the "O" ring holding the ball bushing
assembly to the back of the wire feeder. Remove
the ball bushing assembly.
3. Place a K1546-xx conduit connector into the back of
the wire drive. Rotate the conduit connector to a
position where the thumb screw does not interfere
with the idle arm or door.
4. Tighten the set screw to secure the conduit connec-
tor in the wire drive.
5. Insert conduit through the sheet metal of the LF-72
and into the conduit connector. Secure with the
thumb screw.
