WIRE DRIVE MOTOR AND GEAR BOX REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL OF THE DRIVE
MOTOR FROM THE GEAR BOX
1. Using the 7/16 in. wrench remove the
cover from the gear box. See Figure F.7.
note the LF72 only has one screw.
2. Loosen and remove the outer wire guide.
3. Loosen and remove the drive roll
assembly. The LF72 has one while the
LF74 has three.
4. Using the Phillips head screw driver
remove the gear drive. See Figure F.7.
5. Using the phillips head screw driver
remove the three screws holding the
drive motor. See Figure F.7.

6. Follow the first five steps found in the
drive motor removal.
7. Using the 7/16 wrench remove the four
bolts holding the gear box to the panel.
