Add Transmission Oil:
5. Check that the transmission oil drain plug sealing washer is in good
condition. If necessary, replace the sealing washer.
6. Reinstall the transmission oil drain plug and tighten it to the specified
torque:
22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m , 16 lbf·ft)
7. Fill the crankcase with the recommended grade oil approximately:
0.68 (0.72 US qt , 0.60 Imp qt)
8. Reinstall the transmission oil filler cap.
9. Start the engine and let it idle for 3 5 minutes. Stop the engine, wait
2 3 minutes to allow the oil to properly distribute itself in the clutch
and transmission. Check the transmission oil level by following the
steps in Checking & Adding Transmission Oil
10. Check that there are no oil leaks.
If a torque wrench is not used for installation, see your Honda dealer as
soon as possible to verify proper assembly.
