PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
Be environmentally responsible. Follow
these procedures for hazardous waste
disposal. Failure to follow these
procedures may seriously harm the
environment.
• Follow the guidelines of the
governmental agency for the proper
disposal of hazardous materials such
as engine oil, diesel fuel and engine
coolant. Consult the local authorities
or reclamation facility.
• NEVER dispose of hazardous
materials irresponsibly by dumping
them into a sewer, on the ground or
into ground water or waterways.
Before you operate the engine check for any fuel
leaks. NEVER use your hands! If you discover a
fuel leak see your authorized Yanmar industrial
engine dealer or distributor to repair the engine.

• Check For Engine Oil Leakage
• Check For Fuel Leakage
Check For Engine Oil Leakage
• Keep your hands and other body parts
away from hot engine surfaces such
as the muffler, exhaust pipe,
turbocharger (if equipped) and engine
block during operation and shortly
after you shut the engine down. These
surfaces are extremely hot while the
engine is operating and could

seriously burn you.
• Failure to comply could result in death
or serious injury.
After you shut down the engine check for any
engine oil leaks. If you discover an engine oil leak
see your authorized Yanmar industrial engine
dealer or distributor to repair the engine.
