CAUTION
The tightening torque in the Standard
Torque Chart (page 12) should be
carefully observed.
• Apply 60% torque to bolts that are not
listed.
• Apply 80% torque when tightened to
aluminum alloy.
CAUTION
Establish a periodic maintenance plan
according to the engine application and
make sure you perform the required
periodic maintenance at intervals
indicated. Failure to follow these
guidelines will impair the engine's safety
and performance characteristics,
shorten the engine's life and may affect
the warranty coverage on your engine.
