Prerequisites

NOTE: If applicable close the expansion-card latch on the cooling shroud to release the ful -
length card.
4. Remove the expansion-card riser.
5. Unpack the expansion card and prepare it for installation.

Steps
1. Press the expansion-card retention latch and rotate the latch clockwise.
2. Holding the card by its edges, position the card so that the card's edge connector aligns with the
expansion card connector.
3. Insert the card's edge connector firmly into the expansion card connector until the card is fully
seated.
4. Close the expansion-card retention latch.
5. If applicable, close the expansion-card latch on the cooling shroud.
