Solution with TMS
TANDBERG Management Suite 10 has been extended with a
proper integration with Microsoft Live Communication Server
2005 and Microsoft Office Communicator. It's licensed through
the Client Solution Package with a per user license. The integra-
tion links users together with video systems, giving Webcam
users and video system users a common way of starting video
conversations and web collaboration conferences between them.
TANDBERG has cooperated with Microsoft during the development
of the TANDBERG integration, and Microsoft has acknowledged
the integration:
"We're excited that TANDBERG has joined our vibrant industry
partner ecosystem, building a valuable integrated video solution
on our Microsoft Real-Time Collaboration platform," said Marc
Sanders, senior product manager, Real-Time Collaboration Group,
at Microsoft Corp.
From Office Communicator, the integration allows you to:
Start and end video conferencing calls from standard videocon-
ferencing systems (all systems supported by TMS).

Users without a video conferencing system can register their
Office Communicator web camera in TMS as a SIP room for
booking, making and receiving calls.
Place calls using multiple protocols: SIP, H.323 and H.320
Dial numbers directly from your Communicator client and it will
be routed for you, using the advanced routing engine inside
TMS.
Search for registered video systems and phonebook entries
in TMS via Office Communicator, and start calls to the found
entries through a single mouse click.
Start a TANDBERG See And Share conference (web confer-
ence). Requires
Requires TANDBERG See And Share option installed on
TMS.
