The range of the hue in which Color Drop Out is to
be executed is specified in these boxes.
The range of the saturation in which Color Drop Out
is to be executed is specified in these boxes.
The range of the brightness value in which Color
Drop Out is to be executed is specified in these
boxes.
This is for clearing the currently displayed color
conditions.
The colors of the specified hue, saturation and
brightness value are displayed as a sample.
Saturation
This is used to enable restrictions to be applied to
the ranges in which the saturation and brightness
value can be set.
When the [Exempt Dark Color (Divide S,V)] check
box has been set to On, the current saturation and
brightness value setting ranges are displayed in
this area. When the inside of a setting range is
clicked, a restriction is applied so that Color Drop
Out will not be executed for the parts which are
blacker or darker than the value concerned.
This is for displaying the Binary Image that is
expected to be produced in the dropout view area
when the document is scanned under the current
Color Drop Out conditions. It is used to check the
anticipated binary image in the dropout view area
when the values in the [Hue], [Saturation] and
[Value] edit boxes have been changed.
This is for giving a name to the current Color Drop
Out conditions (front/back) and saving them under
this name. Both upper- and lower-case letters are
effective for the names.
When [Save Pre-Scan Image Too] has been
checked, the image displayed in the original view
area is also saved.
This is for deleting the current Color Drop Out
conditions from the list. If the pre-scanned image
has been saved, it also deletes this image.
