3.39 Patchcode

This function enables standard patchcode types
T to be detected. When areas where patchcodes are present have been specified,
the codes are analyzed, and the resulting information is passed along each time one
sheet of the document is scanned. The operation performed after a patchcode has
been detected differs depending on the application being used. Refer to the
application's operating instructions.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• When the Patchcode detection function is used, the scanning speed decreases.
• It can be used only in the Black and White mode.
• It cannot be used at the same time as Automatic Crop, Deskew, Margin or Detect
Paper Width.
