Connecting the power cord
Use only the supplied power cord. Using the wrong power cord could result in damage or fire.
(The specification of the supplied power cord is written below.) Also note that the protection
Class 1 equipment should be connected to the PE (protective earth) terminal for grounding.
• For the 100 to 120 V area:
UL approved, detachable 3-conductor power cord set
(3-conductor grounding type SVT, AWG 18, 3 m long maximum, rated at 125 V AC minimum)
• For the 220 to 240 V area:
EU/EN approved 3-conductor power cord set
(3-conductor grounding type H05VV-F, 3 m long maximum, rated at 250 V AC minimum)
• For Japan:
PSE approved detachable 3-conductor power cord set
(3-conductor grounding type VCTF 3 x 0.75 mm
minimum)
Turn off the power switch of the microscope (flip it to the " " side).
First connect the socket of the power cord to the AC IN connector on the rear of microscope.
Then plug in the plug of the power cord to the AC outlet.

Attaching a camera
Please refer to the instruction manual supplied with the equipment for its operation and
assembly.
4.13.1 LV-TV TV adapter/C-mount adapter
Remove the cap on the vertical tube of the trinocular eyepiece and attach the LV-TV TV
adapter or the C-mount adapter, then secure it using the set-screw. You can attach a
camera on the LV-TV TV adapter using the V-T photo adapter or the C-mount lens.
4.13.2 TV cameras
(1) When using a 1 × relay lens

After attaching the LV-TV TV adapter to the vertical tube of the trinocular eyepiece tube,
attach the V-T photo adapter to the LV-TV TV adapter and secure it with the set-screw.

Insert the relay lens into the hole inside the photo adapter.
3.
Attach the C-mount adapter or the ENG adapter to the camera.
4.
Insert the sleeve of the adapter attached to the camera into the hole of the photo
adapter.
