Telephony – Network Mailboxes:
Entering the network mailbox, activating deactivating

the network mailbox

Many ISDN, fixed network, and VoIP providers offer answering machines on the net-
work – these are known as network mailboxes.
Each network mailbox accepts incoming calls made via the corresponding line
(fixed line network/ISDN or corresponding VoIP connection). To record all calls, set
up network mailboxes for the fixed line network/ISDN and for each of your VoIP
connections.
By saving the network mailbox numbers on the base, you can assign a network
mailbox to key 1 for fast dialling or call each network mailbox directly by opening
the message list.
You can enter the number of the relevant network mailbox for each configured con-
nection via the Web configurator. You can activate/deactivate the network mail-
boxes for your VoIP connections using the Web configurator.
¤
Open the Settings
A list with all possible connections is displayed on the Web page. The names of the
connections are displayed in the Connection column.

Entering numbers

connection.
With some VoIP providers your mailbox number is downloaded together with

the option in the Active column. Activating/deactivating is carried out by select-
