To set up a portable Wi-Fi hotspot, touch or click Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.

To share your device's mobile data connection, touch or click Bluetooth tethering or USB
tethering.
To disable tethering:

Touch or click the All Apps icon

Under Wireless and networks, More ..., touch or click Tethering and portable hotspot.

To disable tethering, touch or click USB tethering, and then disconnect the USB device, or touch
or click Bluetooth tethering.

Connecting to a Windows device (select devices only)

NOTE:
USB tethering must be turned off before you can use a USB port to transfer files between
your device and the Windows device.
NOTE:
On select devices, a memory card must be installed in your device before you can transfer
files between your device and a Windows device.

Connect the USB cable to your device and to a Windows® device.
The USB storage unit, drive, or other Windows device appears as a drive on your device. You
can copy files back and forth as you would with any other external device.

When you are finished, eject the device from Windows and disconnect the USB cable.
Streaming content to a high-definition TV or monitor (select
devices only)
Cast screen technology allows you to stream or display content, such as a movie, wirelessly from
your device to a compatible display device, such as a high-definition TV or monitor.
NOTE:
Screen casting is only available on devices running Android 4.2 or later.

Tips and recommendations for best performance

Store media content locally on your device or on an installed memory card.
Close apps that are not in use.
Place your device and the display device in the same room.
NOTE:
Cast screen video stream performance may be impacted by wireless environment factors,
including Bluetooth
