Configuring settings in accordance with a playback source (Option menu)

You can configure the playback-related settings in accordance with a playback source.
Since this menu is operational on the front panel (or on the TV screen), you can easily
configure the settings during playback.

Press OPTION.

• To return to the previous screen during menu operations, press RETURN.

Option menu items

• Available items vary depending on the selected input source.
• Texts in parentheses denote indications on the front display.
Item Function
Tone Control Adjusts the high-frequency range and low-frequency range
of sounds.
(Tone Control)
Sets whether dynamic range (from maximum to minimum)
Adaptive DRC
is adjusted automatically in conjunction with adjusting the
(Adaptive DRC)
volume level.
CINEMA DSP 3D Mode
Enables/disables CINEMA DSP 3D.

Dialogue Lift Adjusts the vertical position of center sound when presence
(Dialog Lift) speakers are used.
Extended Surround Selects the 5.1 to 7.1-channel signal playback method
(EXTD Surround) when surround back speakers are used.
Volume Trim
Corrects volume differences between input sources.

Enhancer
Enables/disables Compressed Music Enhancer.

Traffic Program (U.K. and Europe models only)
(TrafficProgram) Searches for a traffic information station automatically.
Shuffle Configures the shuffle setting for the iPod (p.56), USB
(Shuffle) storage device (p.61) or PC (p.64).
Repeat Configures the repeat setting for the iPod (p.56), USB
(Repeat) storage device (p.61) or PC (p.64).
Connect/Disconnect Establishes/terminates a wireless connection between your
(Connect/Disconnect) Bluetooth component and the Bluetooth receiver.
Pairing Performs pairing of your Bluetooth component and the
(Pairing) Bluetooth receiver.
