Introduction
Prolonged Non-Use and Moving the Printer
Prolonged Non-use
If you ever leave the printer unused for a long period of time, remove the power cord from the wall outlet.
We recommend you consult with your dealer about the additional actions you should take to avoid possible
damages that may occur when the printer is used next time.

Moving the Printer

When you move the printer:
Move it gently.
Keep it as level as possible, to avoid spilling toner inside the printer.
If you need to move the printer to another location, first remove the toner container, waste toner bottle,
and developer unit. The procedure for removing these is as follows:
1.
Get the supplied plastic bag ready, remove the toner container and the waste toner bottle from the
printer, and put them into each plastic bags.
2.
Get the supplied plastic bag ready, remove it from the printer according to the figure below, close the
protect cover on the developer unit, and put it into the plastic bag.

Place the toner container, waste toner bottle,
and cable as shown in the figure, then rest card-
board piece A on top.
4.
Place the developer unit as shown in the figure,
then push flap B in the direction of the arrow.
To reinstall the developer unit into the printer, use
the reverse procedure of the above.
