Getting to know your phone
Handset display icons – These are the symbols you will see on your handset's screen.
Handset name
Handset name
Edge 2500
The handset name is displayed in standby mode.
Handset number
HS1
The handset number is displayed in standby mode.
Battery levels
Shows handset battery status. Scrolls when the
handset is charging in the base.
Directory
Select icon to view the directory.

Calls list*
Flashes to indicate new Calls list entries.
When the icon flashes the number of new entries is
displayed above. When the icon is not flashing, the
total number of calls is displayed.
Range
Displayed in standby mode to indicate handset
is in range of the base. Flashes if you go out
of range.
*You must subscribe to your network provider's Caller Display service for this feature to work.

Indicates the number of messages you
have received.
Secrecy (Displayed when on a call only)
The option to switch secrecy on.
