NFC to enable or disable the NFC feature. Touch and hold to access the NFC
settings menus.
ECO MODE to enable or disable the Eco Mode feature. Touch and hold to launch
the Eco Mode app.
ROTATE to enable or disable the auto-rotate screen feature.

Enter Text

You can type on your phone using one of the available touchscreen keyboards or using your
voice.

Touchscreen Keyboards

Your phone offers you a choice of two touchscreen keyboards for entering text. The keyboard
appears automatically onscreen when you tap a text entry field and it can be used in either
portrait or landscape mode.
The methods available include:
Google Keyboard lets you use a traditional QWERTY setup to enter text. Additional
options expand your ability to enter text faster and more accurately. See
Keyboard.
Swype lets you enter letters and words in one continuous motion by swiping your finger
across the letters. See Swype.
Note: Google Keyboard is selected as a default keyboard.
To select a keyboard from Settings:
1. Press

2. Tap Google Keyboard or Swype.
To switch the keyboard when a keyboard is displayed:
1. Slide the Notifications panel down and tap Choose input method.
2. Tap Google Keyboard or Swype.

Google Keyboard

Google Keyboard offers a traditional QWERTY keyboard setup for entering text by tapping keys
(like on a computer), along with enhancements and options that allow you to enter text faster
and more accurately, such as continuous key input, personalized usage dictionaries, and more.
