Customizing Printing Preferences
Uninstalling the Printer and Printer Driver

The Printer Properties dialog box displays options for setting the printer
properties.
For your operating system, do the following:
1.
WINDOWS 2000
Select Start > Settings > Printers. Select Start >Printers and Faxes.
Right-click the printer icon for your printer model.

Select Properties.
3.
Adjust the printer settings appropriately for your printer.
4.
The Printing Preferences dialog box displays options for setting how your
printer will print.
For your operating system, do the following:
1.
WINDOWS 2000
Select Start > Settings > Printers. Select Start >Printers and Faxes.
Right-click the printer icon for your printer model.

Select Printing Preferences.
3.
On the Layout tab, click Advanced.
4.
The Advanced Options dialog box appears.
Adjust the printing preferences appropriately for your printer.

NOTE: You must have Administrator privileges to uninstall the printer and
printer driver.
For your operating system, do the following:
1.
WINDOWS 2000
• Select Start > Settings >
Printers.
• Double-click Printers.
The Printers dialog box
appears.
Right-click the printer you want to remove and select Delete.

Click Yes to delete the printer.

• Select Start > Printers and
Faxes.
• Double-click Printers.
The Printers and Faxes
dialog box appears.
