1. Check that the ventilation facilities
of the boiler room are open and
unobstructed.
2. Check the inlet pressure of the dia
phragm expansion vessel.
3. Open all check valves (if installed).
4. Fill the heating system with water
and bleed the radiators until the fill
ing pressure is 0.1 to 0.2 bar higher
than the inlet pressure of the dia
phragm expansion vessel.

5. Mark the minimum filling pressure
on the manometer A.
6. Reset check valves to their original
position.
7. Check the fuel supply and open
the oil or gas shut-off valve,
whichever applicable.
If the inlet pressure of the dia
phragm expansion vessel is lower
than the static pressure of the sys
tem, add sufficient nitrogen until
the inlet pressure is 0.1 to 0.2 bar
higher than the static pressure of
the system.
The static pressure corresponds to
the static head.
