Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

THERMISTOR

Refer to page 5-4 for the procedure for servic-
ing the thermistor.
1. Unplug the clothes vitalizer or disconnect
the power.
2. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 10K scale.
3. Disconnect one of the wires from the ther-
mistor terminals.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to each of
the thermistor terminals. The meter should
indicate approximately 50KΩ at 77°F
(25°C)

Electrical Shock Hazard

WAX MOTOR

Refer to page 5-5 for the procedure for servic-
ing the wax motor.
1. Unplug the clothes vitalizer or disconnect
the power.
2. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1K scale.
3. Disconnect one of the wires from the wax
motor terminals.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to each of
the wax motor terminals. The meter should
indicate approximately 1600 to 2100 Ω.
