3. REMOVE AND INSTALL WORMSHAFT
AND BALL NUT
REMOVE
1 . L o o sen lock nut. U se punch
again st e d g e of slot.
2. R em o ve parts a s shown.
NOTICE:
U se care that the ball nut d o e s not run down to
either end of the worm. D am a ge m ay be done to the end s of
the ball guides if the ball nut is allowed to rotate until
stopped at the end of the worm.

J 29369-1 puller and
slide hammer.
