Deleting messages

You can either delete all old messages
together or individually.
Deleting all old messages
During playback or pause:

Press the display key to confirm
the prompt.
Deleting an individual message
During playback or pause:
/ Q
§Delete§
Press the display key or the Q
digit key.
You can only delete new messages once the
time stamp has been played back along with
the first few seconds of the message.
Accepting a call from the
answering machine
You can accept a call while the answering
machine is recording or is being operated
remotely:

Pick up the receiver, press the
handsfree key or display key.
Recording stops and you can speak to the
caller.
If three seconds of the message have been
recorded when you accept the call, the mes-
sage is saved. The message key f flashes.
You can answer the call, even if it is not sig-
nalled.
Operating the desktop phone answering machine

Diverting an external call to the
answering machine
You can divert an incoming external call to
the answering machine, even if it is deacti-
vated.
It is only possible to divert a call, if:
u
The call comes in on a receive connection
that is assigned to one of the answering
machines
u
The answering machine, to which the
receive connection is assigned, is not
engaged with another call
u
There is sufficient capacity available on
the answering machine
Prerequisite: An external call is signalled on
the desktop phone:

Open menu.
Divert to AM
Select and press
The answering machine starts immediately
in answer & record mode and records the
call. The set time for ring delay
ignored.
Activating/deactivating two-way
record
You can record an external call with the
answering machine.
Prerequisites:
u
The MSN used for the call is assigned to
an answering machine as a receive con-
nection.
u
The answering machine, to which the
receive connection is assigned, is not
engaged with another call.

Inform the caller that the call is being
recorded.
