2.3 Receiving Calls

2.3.5 Using the ANSWER / RELEASE Button

The ANSWER and the RELEASE buttons are useful for operations with the headset or in the hands-
free mode.
With the ANSWER button, you can answer all incoming calls to the paired / your own telephone.
With the RELEASE button, you can disconnect the line during or after a conversation, or complete
transferring a call.
To answer
PT & DSS Console
When a call comes in on your extension
Press ANSWER.
To transfer a call
PT & DSS Console
During a conversation with the headset or in the hands-free mode
TRANSFER
Press TRANSFER.
To transfer an outside call to an extension with One-Touch
PT & DSS Console
During a conversation with the headset or in the hands-free mode
(DSS)
Press DSS.
The other party is placed on hold and the
destination extension is called immediately.
