(a) Connoct the positive (+) lead from the battery to
t s r m i n a l A - 1 9 a n d t h e n e g a t i v e ( - ) l e a d t o t e r m i n a l

(b) Check that th€ illumination lights up.
lf the illumination does not light up, t6st the bulb.

1. TNSPECT A/C INDICATOR
LHD Models:
(a) Conn€ct the positive (+) lead from the battery to
t e r m i n a l A - l 9 a n d t h e n e g a t i v e ( - ) l e a d t o t e r m i n a l
A - 1 8 .
(b) Push the A/C button in and check that the indicator
l i g h t u p .
lf operation is not as specified, replace tho A/C con-
trol assem bly.
RHD Models:
(a) Connoct tho positive (+) lead from the battery to
terminal A-12 and the negative (-) lead to tsrminal
A - 1 8 .
(b) Push the A/C button in and check that the indicator
l i g h r u p .
lf operation is not as specified, replac6 th6 A/C con-
trol assembly.
2. INSPECT MODE INDICATOR
LHD Models:
(a) Connoct the positive (+) lead from the battery to
t e r m i n a l A - 1 9 a n d t h e n € g a t i v s ( - ) l e a d t o t e r m i n a l
A - 2 2 .
(b) Push each of the mod€ buttons in and check that their
indicators light up.
ff operation is not as specified, replace the A/C con'
trol assembly.
RHD Models:
(a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to
terminal A- 18 and the negativo (-) lead to terminal
A - 9 .
(b) Push each of th€ mode buttons in and check that their
indicators lig ht up.
lf operation is not as specified, replace the A/C con-
trol assemblv.
