VSV INSPECTION
7 A - F E E N G I N E M O D E L :
1. INSPECT VACUUM CIRCUIT CONTINUITY IN VSV
BY BLOWING AIR INTO PIPES
(a) Connect the VSV terminals to the battory tsrminals as
illustrated.
(b) Blow into pipe 'A" and check that air comes out of
pipe 'C".
2. IilSPECT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Using an ohmmeter, moasuro the resistance between
th6 2 terminals.
Roristlnco: 30 - 34 O !t 20 'C (88'F)
lf the r6sistance is not within sp€cification, replace
tho VSV.
