Error Indications

Symptom
The System
Information screen
shows "waiting" in the
IP Video Number field.
The home screen
shows "0.0.0.0" as the
system's IP address.
Low battery icon on
the screen.
Problem
The LAN is not working.
The DHCP server is not
available.
The LAN cable is not
connected.
The system was
configured for a static IP
address of 0.0.0.0.
The system is configured
for DHCP, and no DHCP
server is available or
responding on the
network.
The system is partially or
incorrectly configured for
firewall/NAT operation.
Low batteries in the
remote control.

Corrective Action
Check the LAN connection.
Contact your network administrator.
Contact your network administrator to correct the
problem with the server or to assign a static IP
address.
Check the LAN cable connection to the LAN port
on the system.
Go to System > Admin Settings > LAN
Properties and correct the IP address settings.
Contact your network administrator to correct the

> Firewall > and verify the NAT Public
(WAN) Address setting.
Replace the batteries in the remote control with
three AAA batteries.
