About the Interface Connector
RS-232C interface
The DVD-V7200 is equipped with one serial interface
connector conforming to RS-232C standards.
When controlling the player through the computer's
RS-232C interface, use RS-232C connector on the back of
player.

3 Connections to a computer
Connect the computer to the DVD-V7200 as shown below.
(control is possible when the three lines are connected)
RS-232C interface and computer connections
Computer
A player accepts commands at any time. It is unnecessary
to connect control lines other than TxD and RxD when joining
to a computer with a standard RS-232C port.
Some computers fail unless the CTS input is hard-wired.
In this case, the DTR output is used. If the DTR is active, a
"+" electric potential is output.
