Use the COUNTER button to select [CTL].
During playback, the counter displays the play position
relative to the start position.
Recording starts from the counter value [0:00:00:00].
When recording stops, the counter shows the position
relative to the start position.
◆ NOTE:
• When 23.98, 24, 59-23 or 60-24 is selected in setup menu
No. 25 (SYSTEM FREQ), there is a 1-frame delay between
playback video and CTL.
• The counter value is the position relative to the playback end
position when setup menu No.016 (CTL COUNT) is set to
DOWN. It decreases in forward playback and reaches
[00:00:00:00] at the end. The IN point registration (IN + ENTRY)
and the OUT point registration (OUT + ENTRY) during recording
become invalid.
• If the unit receives an RS422 command or RS232 CTL query
when setup menu No.016 (CTL COUNT) is set to DOWN, it
replies with the value obtained by subtracting the value relative
to the end so that the counter reaches [00:00:00:00] at the end.
