16 Adjusting the Baby Unit VOX sensitivity
The baby unit transmission is activated by the voice of the baby or by another sound in the
environment (VOX).
The VOX sensitivity can be adjusted by turning the VOX sensitivity switch
– Up = Highest sensitivity position
– Down = Lowest sensitivity position
Try the VOX sensitivity and excercise sufficiently before using
the Babytalker 1010.

The Baby Unit can transmit automatically a 1 khz beep tone every 30 seconds when it is in
the listening mode. This function can be used when you need to be sure that the babytalker
is operational at all time.
