8. Check the current paper size and paper type settings displayed on the control panel. To use the settings, touch
Done. To change the settings, select Paper Size or Paper Type, and then go to the next step.
Note:
If you have disabled the Paper Configuration setting, the paper setting screen is not displayed.
9. Select the paper size and type on each setting screen. Touch Done on the paper settings confirmation screen.
Note:
❏ You can also display the paper size and paper type settings screen by selecting Setup > Printer Setup > Paper
Source Setting > Paper Setup.
❏ The output tray slides out automatically when printing starts. To eject the tray before printing starts, press the

Loading Paper in the Rear Paper Feed Slot

You can load a single sheet of all types of supported paper in the rear paper feed slot. You can also load thick paper
(up to 0.6 mm thick) and pre-punched paper, which cannot be loaded in the paper cassette. However, even if the
thickness is within this range, some paper may not be fed correctly depending on the hardness.

Send your print job before loading paper. If paper is loaded before sending the print job, an error occurs and the
paper is ejected.

job.
