General features

Audio Setup

Setting the Sound system, such as Volume offset
and Dual Zone.

Select the source to adjust
Press the [SRC] button.

Enter Audio Setup mode
Press the [VOL] knob for at least 1 second.

Select the Audio Setup item to adjust
Press the [VOL] knob.
Each time you press the knob, the item to be
adjusted alternates between the items shown in
the table below.

Setup the Audio item
Turn the [VOL] knob.

Dual Zone System
"2 ZONE"
• Volume offset: Sets each source's volume as a
difference from the basic volume.
• Dual Zone System
Main source and sub source (Auxiliary input) output
Front channel and Rear channel separately.
- Set up the channel of sub source by <Dual Zone
System Setting> (page 40).
- Select Main source by [SRC] button.
- Adjust the volume of Front channel by [VOL] knob.
- Adjust the volume of Rear channel by <Audio
Control> (page 11).
- The Audio Control has no effect on sub source.
• You can use the Dual Zone System with the Auxiliary
input sources listed below.
- Internal auxiliary input
• You can use the Dual Zone System only when you
have set the rear speaker to any mode other than
"None" in the <Sound Management system> (page
14).
• When the "2 ZONE" is ON, ignore the following setups.
- <Sound Field Control> (page 12)
- <Sound Management system> (page 14)
- <Equalizer Control> (page 15)
- <WOW Control> (page 16)
- <Bypass Control> (page 16)
• ODD D/A System is not effective when the "2 ZONE" is
ON.

Exit Audio Setup mode
Press the [VOL] knob for at least 1 second.

Select the source to adjust
Press the [SRC] button.

Select the key function section
Press the [NEXT] button.
Repeatedly press the button until "S.F.C" is
displayed above the [1] button.
Refer to <Notes on Multi-function Key System>
(page 9).

Enter Sound Field Control mode
Press the [1] ("S.F.C") button.
• When "2 ZONE" of <Audio Setup> (page 12) is ON,
you cannot select "S.F.C".

Select the Sound Field Control item to
adjust
Press a [1] — [3] and [5] button.
Each time you press the [1] — [3] and [5] button,
the adjustable audio item alternates between
the ranges of all stage section's tables on the
following pages.
