7. TIMER SET

This sets start times for recording in the case of timer recording.
This sets start and stop times for recording as well as recording cycles for each weekday.

Select timer recording conditions for each weekday on the pull-down menu on the screen.

Click [SAVE] to complete the adjustments (or changes).

WEEK
Indicates the weekdays for making timer recordings.
Several timer recordings can also be made at different
times on the same weekday.

START
Enter the time for timer recording to start.

STOP
Enter the time for timer recording to stop.
Points to note and applications of timer settings
• If timer reservations overlap, the earlier time setting will take precedence for recording.
• If you wish to set the timer to continue for more than 24 hours:
Use the bottom two lines of the setting screen ([SAT] and [DLY]) to make this setting.
1. Switch the setting format by clicking the [OVER 24H] button.
2. Set the start day and time in the upper line.
3. Use the bottom line to specify the stop day and time and recording cycle.
4. When [SET] in the bottom line is set to [ON], timer recording for more than 24 hours will be set.

REC CYCLE
Set the recording cycle. (See p15)

SET
Set this to [ON] to make a timer recording.
Set this to [OFF] if no timer recording is to be made.

DLY
Enter start and stop times and a recording cycle in this
item, and set [SET (5)] to [ON], to enable timer recording
at the same time each day.
