If you use an extension telephone in TEL/FAX mode, select the
desired number of times the extension telephone rings before the unit
answers the call.

R For EU models users:
If you change the location setting (feature #114), the TEL/FAX
delayed ring count will be reset to "2". If necessary, select the
desired ring count again.

To print a sending report.
– "OFF": Sending reports will not be printed.
– "ON": A sending report will be printed after every fax transmission.
– "ERROR": A sending report will be printed only when fax
transmission fails.

When this feature is activated, the unit will print a journal report
automatically after every 30 new fax transmissions and receptions.

To change the receiving mode in the manual answer setting.

To change the default resolution setting for fax.
Note:
R If you select "FINE", "SUPER FINE" or "PHOTO" resolution,
transmission time will increase.

To set the duplex print for fax reception. You can select the long or
short edge, or deactivate this feature.

If you cannot send a fax overseas even if the number is correct and
the line is connected, activate this feature before sending the fax.
This feature improves the reliability by reducing the transmission
speed.
Calling charges may be higher than usual.
– "OFF": Deactivates this feature.
– "NEXT FAX": This setting is effective only for the next attempted
fax transmission. After transmission, the unit will return to the
previous setting.
– "ERROR": When the previous fax transmission fails and you want
to re-send the document.
Note:
R This feature is not available for broadcast transmission.

To reserve fax transmission up to 24 hours in advance of the desired
time. Set the original before activating this menu.
Note:
R The document will be scanned into memory. The unit will then
send the data at the specified time. You cannot use this feature
for another fax transmission until the former sending is completed.
R To cancel this setting after programming, press Mw/STOPN while
the unit is idle, and then press MOK/SETN.
