Select [TCP/IP Device] in the [Device type] box, enter the IP address
of the printer in the [Hostname or IP address] box, and click [Next].
When you are using Windows Vista and the IP address specified in step 5 is correct,
the [Install the printer driver] screen appears. Proceed to step 9.
When you are using Windows Vista and the IP address specified in step 5 is not cor-
rect, the [Additional Port Information Required] screen appears. Proceed to the next
step.
When you are using Windows operating system other than Windows Vista, the [Addi-
tional Port Information Required] screen appears. Proceed to the next step.
When you use a WINS server, enter the print server name of the printer provided
from the WINS server in the [Hostname or IP address] box.
In the [Port name] box, the port name is automatically entered according to the IP
address or printer name entered in the [Hostname or IP address] box.

Select [Custom] and click [Settings].
The [Configure Standard TCP/IP Port Monitor] dialog box appears.
