This appliance may only use the Direct Vent Chimney System Required with the Unit
and MUST NOT be connected to a chimney flue servicing a separate Solid Fuel or
Approved vent system terminations are labeled for identification. Two separate 3" diameter listed flexible aluminum or
stainless steel gas vent is used for both exhaust and incoming combustion air and must be run up through the fireplace
chimney and terminated vertically. Horizontal terminations MUST NOT be done. Follow the vent manufacturer's installation
instructions in conjunction with this manual.
