ADJUSTING THE FRONT FORK

ADJUSTING THE FRONT FORK
The following procedure applies to both of the fork
legs.
WARNING
• Always adjust both fork legs equally, other-
wise poor handling and loss of stability may
result.
• Securely support the motorcycle so that
there is no danger of it falling over.
Spring preload
CAUTION:
• Marks are provided on adjusting bolts.
• Never go beyond the maximum or minimum
adjustment positions.
1. Adjust:
• spring preload
a. Turn the adjusting bolt 1 in direction a or b.

Standard: 5
Minimum: 7 (soft)
Maximum: 1 (hard)
