Adding HotShapes

HotShapes are predefined designs you can print or cut out. (See Chapter 7: Creating and
Modifying Cutout Objects for more information about HotShape Cutouts.)
1. To add HotShape objects to your output, create or open an item and follow the process
described in Selecting Objects on page 6-22.
2. Select the HotShape option on the Insert Object screen (Figure 6-2). The HotShape
screen displays.
3. Choose a HotShape type by selecting one of the HotShape buttons. The HotShape is
automatically added to the label you are creating in the Editor window.
Hint! You can change the size, color, rotation, and location of a HotShape object just as you
would any other object, but you can not open and edit a HotShape.
To cancel adding a HotShape and return to the Editor window, choose Cancel.

Selecting Objects

In previous sections, you learned to insert objects into your labels and modify them. This
section continues discussing more extensive modifications to objects such as resizing and
moving.
Before you can use the tools and features on the Editor window to format an object, you
must first select it.
