8.1.16 Emergency Recognition

This function allows you to view the transceiver's
status with the dots that appear on the display when it
is in the Emergency Mode.
The transceiver does not emit any alert tone when the
Secret Emergency function is enabled. It is
impossible to know whether or not the transceiver is
in the Emergency Mode simply by looking it.
With this function, small dots flash on the display to
notify the user that the transceiver is in Emergency
Mode.
The user can also know that the dispatcher has
received the Emergency Call when the unit with the
emergency has received the DTMF Ack Code from
the dispatcher.
Note: The display does not change until the transceiver
enters the Emergency Mode when the Secret
Emergency function is enabled and the Emergency
Recognition function is disabled.
Note: You cannot disable the Emergency Recognition
function when the Secret Emergency function is
disabled.

8.1.17 Emergency Manual Reset

This function allows you to select whether or not to
exit the Emergency Mode when the [Emergency] key
is pressed and held for more than 10 seconds.
The transceiver exits Emergency Mode when
enabling this function.
The transceiver continues automatic transmission/
reception until it receives the DTMF Reset Code or
the transceiver's power is removed when enabling
the Secret Emergency function and the Emergency
Power Switch, and disabling the Emergency Manual
Reset function.
