PHONIC)
The two speakers can produce an effect resem-
bling surround sound.
■When a disc/file is played back
Press [3D PHONIC] repeatedly to
select the desired sound effect.
This indicator lights up when 3D PHONIC is
activated.
• "ACTION" is suitable for action movies, sport
programs or other lively programs.
• Select "DRAMA" to enjoy a sound effect with a
relaxing, natural atmosphere.
• Select "THEATER" to enjoy a sound effect as if
you were watching the movie in a theater.
• Select "3D PHONIC OFF" to cancel 3D PHONIC
(initial setting).
NOTE
• If noise is produced or sound is distorted, select
"3D PHONIC OFF".
• If the 3D PHONIC is activated when the K2 func-
tion has already been activated, the K2 function
turns off automatically and the 3D PHONIC turns
on.

Selecting the audio volume
level of the DVD
When the audio volume of a DVD VIDEO/DVD
AUDIO is lower than that of another source, you
can increase the audio volume level of the DVD.
■When a disc is played back
Press [DVD LEVEL].
• Each time you press [DVD LEVEL], the audio
volume level display changes to "NORMAL",
"MIDDLE" or "HIGH" in the display window.
• Select the audio level while listening to the
actual sound to confirm the difference.
