Alarm function
If an "ALARM" (Emergency) signal is received from a station
while listening to the radio, the unit automatically switches to the
station broadcasting the "ALARM" signal, except when you are
listening to non-RDS stations—all AM (MW) and some FM
stations.
Test function
The "TEST" signal is used for testing the "ALARM" signal.
Therefore, it makes the unit work in the same way as the "ALARM"
signal does.
If a "TEST" signal is received from a station while listening to the
radio, the unit automatically switches to the station broadcasting the
"TEST" signal, except when you are listening to non-RDS
stations—all AM (MW) and some FM stations.
