All of these settings are volatile, so when FPC is rebooted, the FPC restores the
settings from the internal USB automatically. The configuration settings that are
related to network, SNMP, and so on, are non-volatile, so they remain in FPC
memory between reboots.
The FPC web interface also includes manual backup and restore functions, as
shown in Figure 7-30; however, because back up and restore tasks are
automatic, these options are not needed.

Configuration
The Configuration function displays and configures the FPC module. All settings
under the Configuration function are non-volatile, so they are kept between FPC
reboots and are not saved to the internal USB key.
By using the Configuration function, the user can perform the following tasks by
using the corresponding tabs:

"SMTP tab" on page 197
"SNMP tab" on page 198
"Platform Filter Events tab" on page 199
"Network Configuration tab" on page 199

When a firmware upgrade is available, you use the web interface to perform the
upgrade.
