1 Turn the printer off, and open the system
board shield. Check the cable in connector
JTRAY1 (A) for proper connection to the
system board.
Is the cable properly connected?
2 Check the cable for damage.
Is the cable damaged?
3 Remove the standard media tray. Check the
cable (A) from the paper pick mechanism
assembly to the printer.
Is the cable properly connected?
4 Remove the paper pick mechanism
assembly. See "Paper pick mechanism
