[301] Troubleshooting
The buttons on the touch panel do not work correctly or
do not work at all.
If you cover the panel with a commercially available protective film, the panel may not
operate.
If you are touching somewhere other than the point you should touch, the panel may not
operate properly.
Some operations cannot be done on the touch panel. In this case, use the control wheel
and buttons.
[302] Troubleshooting

You cannot perform touch operations.

Check if [Touch Operation] is set to [On].
The MENU screen and the playback mode screen cannot be operated using touch
operations.
The [Touch Shutter] function or [Touch Focus] function is disabled while using Digital
Zoom. You can use [Touch Shutter] or [Touch Focus] within the range of the optical
zoom.
The touch panel of this product is not pressure-sensitive. You may not be able to operate
the touch panel using your fingernail or a pen.
If there are water drops on the monitor, or you touch the monitor with a wet finger, you
may not be able to operate the touch panel. Turn the product off, then wipe off the drops
on the monitor using a soft cloth.

Set Area/Date/Time.
Set the area, date and time. If you have not used the product for a long time, charge the
internal rechargeable backup battery.
